What is TDS Controller/Modulator?

TDS Controller, as the name suggests, it is a device which helps in controlling the TDS level of the water coming out of the RO. The RO process reduces the hardness of the input water by approximately 90%.

It is a small manual device, which consists of two water inputs. One is water output from the RO Membrane and a TDS controller. It has a TDS Control Screw to control the TDS value in water by adjusting the flow of water from the two water inputs. One should adjust the TDS controller such that the TDS level of purified water is between 50 to 150 ppm. (1).

Mineraliser:

Mineraliser is a technology that ensures to improve the taste and quality of water. It adds essential and required minerals to the water. It maintains a pH level in the water. Hi-tech mineraliser ensures to add needed and essential minerals and serve you best.

Which one to choose:

Minerals and TDS levels both are important for water. So, now the question is, of choosing between the TDS controller and Mineraliser. The TDS controller does not take the input of 100% RO Membrane processed water. So, if water supply contains industrial impurities like lead, then one can avoid buying RO purifiers with TDS Controller, other than this it works very well. It can adjust the TDS level also, which is advisable to use. 

Since mineraliser takes 100% RO purified water, heavy metals like Lead, arsenic are removed already so it can treat infected water. But it does not have the option to adjust the TDS level.
